Classic Pintail: A few years ago, when Bruce Brown first released his collection of pre Endless Summer films on video, I was watching "Slippery When Wet" with my son Jay. "Hey Dad", he said, "did you notice these guys are all riding pintails?" That did it. The next day, I ordered a some balsa and carved out a pintail. The one in the picture.
The basic dimensions of this model are: Nose 17-18" Mid 23" Tail 1' up 15-16"
The rails are 50/50 throughout
It's available in balsa (chambered or solid) or in foam. I recommend a wide balsa stringer in the foam boards for stiffness. The above board has two offset 3" balsa stringers.
